I am Kristy McNeil and this is my LIMU Experience:
If you’re a part of the LIMU community, you’ve learned the importance of making a list. In LIMU, we make a list of the people we know that need what LIMU offers, a healthier way to live and a way to build a more secure financial future.
The fact is that we make all kinds of lists in our lives … we have the business list, the grocery list, the to do list, and frankly our lists can go on and on and on. But in the craziness of life, we can get lost in all those lists.
That’s where I found myself just recently, as I was sitting there looking at all my lists, I realized that “take care of yourself” was nowhere to be found. Somewhere along the way, after 22 years of marriage with a focus on raising eight children, I had taken myself completely off the list. I loved the LIMU Experience for what it helped me accomplish financially and for what it allowed me to share with others, but I felt like I wasn’t doing enough for myself.
That’s when I decided no more … it was time for me to take charge and place myself on the list! I took the LIMU LEAN weight-loss challenge and started drinking my LEAN Shakes. Around that time, I kept seeing Ryan Barson post about training for a half-marathon and I thought “I would really like to try running”.
Due to my long-time asthma, running had never been a part of my life, but I knew my health would be better with it. So, I started my running off slowly, but always had my BLU FROG before a run. In the beginning, I ran half a mile … which turned into one, then two … and now I’m up to four miles a day!
The hard work has paid off! I have lost 30 pounds and a total of 18 inches off my body! I feel amazing and look better than I have in years. The LIMU Experience has been such a great gift for me!
Here’s my advice: If you’ve taken yourself off the list, I encourage you to place yourself back on it. Trust me, it will be the best thing you ever do for yourself.
