At LIMU, we don’t sell. We invite and share. And the only way to begin sharing with people is to take that first step and start a conversation…
That’s what Operation #LaunchYourStreet is meant to accomplish. It’s about making connections with people in your area and inviting them to see what the LIMU Experience is all about. Many Promoters have already taken that first step, and they’re seeing great results!
Schedule your next Experience party, and make it your mission to get out there and personally invite your neighbors to attend. Just remember not to psyche yourself out!
Take these 6 pointers to heart and get into the right mindset before you step out and launch your ‘hood:
1. Think of it as no big deal.
— John Raser (@johnraser) November 3, 2015
Take the pressure off yourself! Think of Operation #LaunchYourStreet as a lighthearted mission and an excuse to get to know your neighbors a little better. You’re not gearing up for door-to-door sales—so don’t act like it! The fact is, you’re meeting your neighbors and inviting people to parties. Simple as that. Sure, you’re putting yourself out there and stepping out of your comfort zone a bit, but the more you relax and realize this is no big deal—the more you’ll put others at ease and make them feel comfortable enough to accept your invite.
“Stop selling. Start helping. You will get all you want in life, if you help enough other people get what they want.” -Zig Ziglar
2. Strive to make a connection.
— Gary J. Raser (@garyraser) November 20, 2015
You have just a few seconds to get someone’s attention and interest them. But if you make them smile or laugh, that time limit gets extended. Bring your #goodenergy, and strive to make a meaningful connection. Part of the #LaunchYourStreet mission is to brighten someone’s day. Go into this with a completely unselfish approach, and make it more about the people you meet—not just about adding warm bodies to your guest list. Get to know your neighbors, compliment them, ask questions and see what makes them tick. Maybe you’ve seen them out jogging before (hello, perfect LEAN segue!), maybe your children ride the same bus, perhaps they have a gorgeous garden—whatever it is, pick a topic that will engage them and help you get to know them better.
3. Pair up.
— Kristi Arriaga (@ArriagaKristi) November 6, 2015
Two smiles are more powerful than one. In the LIMU Experience, we go farther when we go together. Invite another Promoter in your town to work Operation #LaunchYourStreet with you, and hit two birds with one stone! That way you can get out and about in both of your neighborhoods and capitalize on the sense of ease and confidence that comes with the support of having a friend by your side. Going in as an army of one is perfectly fine, but if you need an extra boost, bring a buddy!
“Pair up—you’ll feel 10 feet tall and bullet-proof.” -Michael Huffaker, 200K
4. Arm yourself with ammo.
No matter where or how you choose to share the LIMU Experience, it’s always a good idea to step out in LIMU GEAR and be a walking billboard for your biz. Sport the brand as you #LaunchYourStreet and you’ll not only feel super comfy and stylin’—you’ll instantly look more established and memorable if you’re wearing the LIMU logo. Arm yourself with some LIMU literature, a custom party flyer from LIMU POST—and if you’re a member of the LIMU BMW CLUB, it goes without saying to take your set of wheels to the streets! Don’t forget to leave behind a custom LIMU-branded business card so your neighbors know how to reach you in the future.
5. Know that it works.
There is no substitute for experience. So go get some. #LaunchYourStreet

Many in LIMU Nation have already tested out Operation #LaunchYourStreet, and the consensus is: IT WORKS! When Promoters take that first step and get out of their comfort zone, they find success and can’t get enough! Once you get out there, you’ll be surprised at how many people are willing to attend your party to see what the LIMU Experience is all about. Most people are open to new ideas and courteous enough to accept warm-hearted invite, so don’t doubt yourself or get discouraged. Trust in the process and keep striving to Be more and help others do the same.
