Like most people, I have had success and failures in my life.
I’ve always tried to position myself mentally to rebound from failures; however, I was not prepared for what happened in my life in 2007.
My husband had a real estate company and mortgage business and I was building a home-based business that was thriving. As the real state market bottomed out, so did our lives. Over the next 3 years we lost our home, investment properties, retirement, savings, and marriage of 21 years.
The financial stress and losses took a great toll on my health, and I had to give up my business because I was too sick to run it. I was fighting for my physical, emotional and spiritual health. I developed an autoimmune disease, and there were days I could barely get out of bed.
In 2010, I relocated from Florida to Colorado Springs with just a suitcase of clothes, not even a car. I was forced to file bankruptcy, which was very humbling because I was taught that you always pay your debts.
As I stated before, I had failures in the past—but this was overwhelming. I wondered how I would survive: a single woman in her 50’s having to reinvent herself. The only way was up since I was at the bottom.
Fortunately, I had good friends who allowed me to stay with them while my health was recovering. What kept me from having a complete breakdown was my faith in God and that somehow He would support me and guide me through this.
I worked jobs that didn’t require stress as I was still in recovery mode. However, that also left me with very little income. I spent four years renting rooms and subletting small apartments. I knew the blessing and value of residual income since I had experienced it in past jobs and businesses. I began praying for extra streams of income and within 4 months I was introduced to LIMU at a dinner party at Tammy Maltby’s.
Since my background was in sales and marketing and my passion was health and wellness, I was very intrigued with what I heard. I spent two weeks researching the product and the company. I was pleasantly surprised that everything I read was very positive. I knew this was the vehicle of hope I needed to put me back on the path of success and pursuing my passion for health and wellness.
I was impressed that in my first month with LIMU, I was able to make my initial $999 investment back. In my second month, I was debt-free and profitable in the business. Within five months, I qualified to get my BMW and retire my 14-year-old car that had 192,000 miles on it. I’m no longer renting rooms; I’m now renting a beautiful home overlooking the mountains. LIMU is restoring my financial future.
More importantly, I’m able to offer hope to those that are suffering physically and financially by offering them a better way. I have made so many life-giving friends in this amazing Limurado community. I thank the good Lord daily for this amazing company and product.
